The newest in this chain of neighborhood ethnic restaurants, Greek Isles brings you the flavors of the Mediterranean. Their food is unlike most you will find in Boston, with Appetizers like Skordalia - Garlic-potato puree and olive oil dip - and dinners like Pastitsio, layers of ziti and ground beef topped with cheesy custard. Lunch specials are tasty and cheap - always under $7.00 - and hey also offer desserts, making it the best place in the area to get homemade Baklava. They even have Galaktobouriko!
Hours 11am - 10 pm daily.
UPDATE: A four-alarm fire that destroyed Thorntons Fenway Grill, Umi Fenway, Rod Dee, Greek Isle, El Pelon Taqueria and Thornton's Fenway Grille on Peterborough Street at 1 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 6.

Fresh City is on the Concourse Level of the Landmark Center, directly above Best Buy. This chain restaurant aims to be healthier than its fast food competitors while also providing a huge array of delicious choices. They have an ample salad bar that would satisfy even the most discerning of vegetarians, as well as some fare for the less calorie conscious eaters. Aside from leafy greens and veggies, Fresh City also offers sandwiches, stir fry, pizza, fried rice, breakfast items, as well as a smoothie bar. As their name suggests, Fresh City prides themselves in the quality of their ingredients and strives to offer as many organic and all-natural options as possible.
Fresh City also offers great catering for business meetings and other functions. Their sandwich platter is a great option when you have a lot of guests with dietary restriction or with finicky taste buds.
Online catering and personal orders can be made via their website, but tend to take longer to prepare than usual.

D'Angelo's is awkwardly sandwiched (no pun intended) on the slab of land where Brookline Avenue and Boylston Street intersect. This sandwich shop offers the standard array of lunch meats and a few varieties of soups and salads. D'Angelo's may be fast food, but the service tends to be slower than most businesses of its kind.

A bar on the edge of Fenway Park's outfield. You enter from Lansdowne Street, but a large window in the sitting area allows diners and drinkers to peer out onto the field to watch the games. According to BU Today, there's "no nachos, no chicken wings, no quesadillas," so don't expect typical bar fair; "high-end," classic sandwiches like "pastrami, salami, beef brisket, corned beef, liverwurst.... turkey club, grilled cheese with bacon, and 'sliders'" make up the better part of the menu's hearty choices. Click here to view their menu. On tap: Bud, Miller Light and Sam Seasonal.
